Smart Manufacturing Cannot Wait: Looking ahead to 2021 and beyond
I think we are all ready to put 2020 in our rear view. But despite the challenges, this year has presented us with an opportunity to think and do things differently, especially in manufacturing.
We saw the need for manufacturers to quickly scale up production of life-saving products and further streamline global supply chains to deliver them when and where they are needed. We saw technology play a critical role in expediting those needs, digitally transforming manufacturing virtually overnight. However, we must not let the promise of “returning to normal” compromise our need for continuous innovation.
The pandemic taught us that manufacturers need to be ready for the next crisis. We must prioritize the modernization of factories, synchronization of supply chains and optimize operations as we look toward the future. Here at Symphony Industrial AI, we’re doing just that.
We’ve had the privilege of partnering with some of the most respected companies in the world to accelerate their digital manufacturing journeys. We are so thankful to play a part in their continued success. Our commitment to growth resulted in being recognized locally as a Fast 50 company by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and nationally on the Inc. 5000 list — and we will build on this momentum in the new year.
While the future remains uncertain, one thing is clear: smart manufacturing cannot wait.
