Savigent Software Announces New CEO and CFO

Dean Truitt is named Chief Executive Officer and John Mitchell as Chief Financial Officer.

Savigent Software, Inc., a leading provider of event-driven Smart Manufacturing and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) workflow automation software, has named Dean Truitt as Chief Executive Officer. Truitt has an engineering background with 35 years of experience transforming businesses, optimizing manufacturing and supply chain operations and deploying software and technology solutions. He has been a strategic operations advisor to Fortune 500 discrete manufacturing, automotive, food and consumer products companies. Truitt has been with Savigent Software for the past year as a board director and the CFO. Prior to Savigent, he served as CEO and COO of several high growth middle market companies. He was a partner with EY and the National Leader of the Consumer Products Practice. Truitt started his career with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in technology and performance improvement. Savigent Software Releases Version 7.0 of its Smart Manufacturing Software Suite

Savigent Software Announced as First National Member of Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute

LOS ANGELES, (November 13, 2017) – The Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII) announced today that Savigent Software has joined the Manufacturing USA initiative as its first national member. Mark Besser is Smart Manufacturing Panelist at the ASME 2017 Conference

Panel explores research and development opportunities and immediate challenges in Smart Manufacturing technologies. 

Mark Besser, Vice President of Customer Success for Savigent, participated as a panelist at the ASME 2017 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences & Computers and Information in Engineering Conference on Tuesday, August 8. The conference highlighted rising technologies that influence important engineering issues of product design and development, manufacturing, and the management and integration of information systems throughout the product life-cycle.

Besser spoke on the Smart Manufacturing panel, specifically providing insight on the provider prospective related to the common technology platform being built by Smart Manufacturing Leadership Coalition (SMLC) and Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII).

“Today’s panel provided an excellent opportunity for the industry to explore research and development as well as the immediate challenges in Smart Manufacturing technologies,” said Besser. “At Savigent, we see our software solutions as a bridge between IT and OT that enables manufacturers to realize the benefits of Smart Manufacturing and the IIoT.”
